Xavier AI has unveiled an AI-driven strategic consultancy solution, aiming to offer affordable professional consulting and compete against industry giant McKinsey.

Emerging from stealth mode, Xavier AI has officially launched the world's first AI-based strategy consultant platform. The startup addresses the gap between elite consulting firms, traditionally too costly for small and mid-sized companies, and the broader market. CEO and co-founder Joao Filipe shared in an exclusive interview with TFN that their initiative could significantly disrupt traditional consulting models. According to Filipe, talented individuals should no longer feel constrained by roles in traditional consulting or investment banking. Instead, he believes these minds are better utilized at the forefront of technological and scientific innovation.

The company, currently seeking $15 million in funding, plans to scale its operations rapidly, reinforcing its position in the AI consultancy space.

Democratizing Consulting with Advanced AI Technology

Founded by former McKinsey consultant and self-taught programmer Joao Filipe, along with prominent AI researcher and INSEAD Professor Phil Parker, Xavier AI leverages cutting-edge technology combined with substantial consulting expertise. Filipe holds an MBA from INSEAD and Wharton, while Parker has over two decades of experience in training business consultants and holds a pioneering patent from 2007 in natural language generation, an early form of today's generative AI.

The heart of Xavier AI’s solution is its proprietary Dynamic Multi-Method Generation (DMG) model, designed to provide precise strategic insights based on verified data sources. According to Filipe, DMG reduces inaccuracies typical of large language models by combining deterministic algorithms with vetted industry databases and real-time news. It generates actionable insights, including competitor analyses, market sizing, and financial modeling tailored to user-specific requirements.

Early Adoption by Major Firms Signals Industry Potential

Despite being a recent entrant, Xavier AI has already attracted high-profile clients, notably including a large international bank employing approximately 50,000 staff members. These early users are implementing Xavier AI in critical strategic planning processes, benefiting from rapid analyses and actionable recommendations. Through its "Actions" feature, the platform seamlessly integrates with enterprise tools such as Salesforce, Slack, and SAP, allowing instant implementation of strategic decisions directly from generated presentations.

Discussing competition in the AI consulting space, Filipe clarified the company's distinct advantage. He highlighted that while numerous AI tools can produce basic presentations, Xavier AI uniquely emphasizes the strategic depth and accuracy embedded in these presentations. The goal, according to Filipe, is not merely slides, but actionable business intelligence capable of directly influencing company strategy and enhancing management effectiveness.

Future Vision: Expanding Across Professional Services

Looking ahead, Filipe outlined ambitious expansion plans for Xavier AI, indicating a broader disruption in the professional services industry beyond traditional strategy consulting. The platform’s advanced capabilities will soon cover other vital business functions including finance, marketing, operations, legal, and human resources. The "Actions" functionality, according to Filipe, bridges the gap between strategy formulation and implementation, enabling recommendations to be executed efficiently with minimal manual intervention.

Over the next three to five years, Filipe anticipates broader enterprise adoption of AI solutions beyond conventional chatbot interfaces. He emphasized the importance of delivering comprehensive, multimodal user experiences that integrate detailed sourcing, precise data, and practical implementation guidelines, positioning Xavier AI at the forefront of enterprise AI transformation.
