Sen Group, a key player in Turkey’s real estate industry, has entered into a $1 billion strategic partnership with Lumia Foundation, a global leader in the Real World Asset (RWA) ecosystem. This collaboration aims to enhance direct investments in Turkey, leveraging blockchain technology to integrate digital transformation within the real estate sector.

Known for combining real-world assets with blockchain through tokenization, Lumia Foundation focuses on converting physical assets into digital tokens. Their mission to bridge traditional finance and Web3 technologies has led them to collaborate with Sen Group, which has been developing real estate projects with a focus on innovation and sustainability. Sen Group Chairman Furkan Karasac described the partnership as an essential step in aligning their operations with the tokenization of real estate, stating, “We have structured this collaboration in a way that allows us to tokenize real estate when regulations in Turkey permit.”

During the announcement at the World Economic Forum’s Davos Summit, Lumia Foundation Co-Founder Kal Ali emphasized that the partnership “represents the perfect synergy between cutting-edge technology and real-world applications.” He highlighted Turkey’s significant potential in setting new standards for innovation and expressed their commitment to being part of this transformation.

The partnership’s first project will be Lumia Towers By Sen, a large-scale development on Istanbul’s European side. The project is designed to offer high-quality, efficient, and prestigious living spaces. By securing naming rights for the project, Lumia Foundation aims to activate the potential of real estate through strategic investments and technology-driven infrastructure. This initiative is expected to serve as a model for integrating blockchain technology into real estate development.

Sen Group plans to adopt tokenization as soon as regulatory frameworks are in place, reflecting its goal to lead the sector in digital transformation. The company’s emphasis on creating sustainable, technologically advanced living spaces aligns with Lumia Foundation’s focus on digital integration. Through this partnership, both entities aim to prepare for the coming changes in the sector and drive innovation in the market.

The $1 billion investment is expected to contribute to Turkey’s economy by increasing foreign investment and fostering a more sustainable, tech-oriented real estate landscape. As Sen Group continues to develop projects tailored for modern needs, this collaboration is seen as a step toward reshaping the industry’s approach to efficiency and digital growth.
