RooGo, a Turkish software company that has been developing software products for restaurants for the past four years, has announced the launch of its single-screen order management software. This new software allows restaurants to manage orders from tables and online platforms through a single interface and automatically print receipts. As a result, restaurants can monitor all internal and external order data from one screen.
Currently serving over 600 restaurants in more than 25 cities with over 2000 users, RooGo aims to revolutionize the restaurant industry with this innovative solution. Demir Ali Toktas, the founder of RooGo, shared insights about the new software: “Restaurants pay up to 18% commissions to other online food channels. We do not think this is sustainable, so we optimized costs, allowing us to process orders through RooGo with only a 5% commission. The cost difference can be offered to consumers as discounts at the restaurant's discretion. The order management software, which we will offer free for one year, is a result of this efficiency. We are happy that this step will benefit both consumers and restaurants in terms of efficiency.”
Toktas also highlighted the company's extensive delivery service, which has facilitated the transportation of hot meal packages via couriers in over 50 cities, reaching more than 2,500 restaurants and assisting in the delivery of over 20 million orders. Looking ahead, he expressed RooGo's ambition to expand RooGo Yemek across all cities.
This new software is expected to support restaurants in managing their orders effortlessly and advancing their digital transformation. The decision to provide the order management software free for one year is seen as a strategic move to enhance operational efficiency for restaurants and deliver greater value to consumers.
With RooGo already making significant strides in the restaurant software industry, this latest development underlines its commitment to innovation and cost-effective solutions. The company’s focus on reducing commission fees and enhancing operational efficiency could set a new standard for restaurant management in Turkey and beyond.
