OpenText Corp. has announced the launch of OpenText Fortify Aviator, a new artificial intelligence-powered solution aimed at accelerating the identification and remediation of vulnerabilities throughout the code development process. This new offering promises to save developers significant time by making the auditing and fixing of static application security testing (SAST) vulnerabilities faster and more efficient, ultimately helping teams release secure software with greater confidence.

Fortify Aviator addresses one of the most time-consuming manual processes in application security: training and validating raw static analysis results. Earlier this month, OpenText was also in the spotlight for announcing significant job cuts and a new reinvestment strategy. The company plans to eliminate 1,200 positions as part of its OpenText 3.0 business optimization plan, which aims to save $200 million annually.
