Netradyne, an AI-powered fleet safety and video telematics startup, has raised $90 million in a Series D funding round, with Point72 Private Investments leading the investment. The round also saw participation from Qualcomm Ventures and Pavilion Capital. The company plans to use the fresh funding to enhance its research and development efforts, expand its market strategies, and scale its presence globally.

Founded in 2015, Netradyne specializes in improving driver safety, fleet management, and operational efficiency for the transportation sector. Its flagship product, Driveri, employs AI and machine learning to monitor and analyze driving behaviors in real time. This technology aims to reduce accidents, improve driver retention, cut insurance costs, and optimize fleet performance.

Commenting on the investment, Avneesh Agrawal, CEO and Co-founder of Netradyne, stated, “This funding provides us with the resources to accelerate growth, expand our technology capabilities, and deliver even greater value to our customers worldwide. With this support, we are poised to scale our innovations globally, deepen our impact, and continue advancing safety and efficiency across the transportation industry, redefining what’s possible for fleets and communities alike.”

Currently, the company serves over 3,000 customers and has more than 450,000 active subscribers in countries such as the United States, Canada, Mexico, Germany, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, and India. Expansion plans are underway to enter additional markets, particularly in Europe and Japan.

Sri Chandrasekar, Managing Partner at Point72 Private Investments, shared his thoughts on the company's progress: “Since our initial investment in 2018, we’ve witnessed Netradyne’s impressive growth and believe their technology is well-positioned not only to empower fleet managers but also to foster a culture of safe driving.”

According to data from Tracxn, the latest funding round brings Netradyne's total capital raised to $308 million, with past investments from notable entities like SoftBank Vision Fund, Silicon Valley Bank, and Reliance Industries. The company’s most recent financial move before this round was a $65 million debt financing from Silicon Valley Bank.

With this significant infusion of capital, Netradyne is set to accelerate its global expansion and continue innovating solutions for the transportation industry's evolving needs.
