Mysa, a finance and banking platform designed for mid-size businesses, has raised $2.8 million in a seed funding round led by Blume Ventures. The investment aims to strengthen the platform’s core capabilities, expand its team, and drive customer growth.
The funding round saw participation from Emphasis Ventures (EMVC), Antler, Neon Fund, and CIIIE, along with notable angel investors, including Sriharsha Majety (Swiggy), Mohit Kumar (Ultrahuman), Naiyaa Saagi (MyGlamm), Nitin Gupta (Uni), and Nishith Rastogi (Locus). With this investment, the company plans to refine its financial workflow automation features and broaden its reach within the business sector.
Co-founded by Arpita Kapoor and Mohit Rangaraju, Mysa offers a unified solution for businesses seeking streamlined financial operations. The platform integrates various financial processes, from bill collection and tax compliance to payment execution and ERP synchronization, creating a seamless system that enhances efficiency and control.
The company has already onboarded multiple businesses across different sectors, including DPDZero, Kouzina, Guru & Jana, Swish, and Rigi. To further its services, Mysa has partnered with Yes Bank to offer integrated current account operations, targeting businesses with annual revenues or expenditures between Rs 10-300 crore.
A key feature of the platform, Mysa Smart Scan, is designed to automate financial workflows by generating contextual narratives for bills, predicting due dates, and categorizing expenses. Additionally, it enables invoice collection through automated bots and ensures smart payment routing. The mobile application further provides users with convenient access to banking services from anywhere.
With the newly secured funding, Mysa aims to strengthen its position in the financial technology sector by enhancing its offerings and expanding its client base, enabling businesses to manage their financial operations more effectively.
