Effective January 1, Ingo Kaestner, the Managing Director of PMG Presse-Monitor, will assume leadership of the Dutch-based X-CAGO, a prominent player in data and content conversion for the publishing industry. This development comes as the company’s founder and current Managing Director, Koos Hussem, prepares for retirement at the end of the year. While stepping down from his position, Hussem will continue to support the company with his extensive expertise.
Since 2019, Kaestner has led PMG Presse-Monitor, overseeing significant milestones, including the acquisition of X-CAGO in 2021. Since then, he has co-managed the company alongside Hussem, playing a crucial role in shaping its strategic direction. This transition signifies the company’s commitment to strengthening its position in the digital content market.
Commenting on this development, Olivera Kipcic, Chairwoman of the PMG shareholders’ meeting and shareholder representative of Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, noted the strategic alignment behind this leadership change. She said, “Ingo Kaestner is an accomplished manager and expert in digital content marketing. Under his leadership, PMG and X-CAGO have become a strong strategic unit. His takeover of the management is the next logical step in continuing this success story.”
Reflecting on his predecessor's contributions, Kaestner expressed his gratitude, stating, “I would like to thank Koos warmly for the trusting collaboration over the last few years. With his commitment and vision, he has made X-CAGO one of the most sought-after providers of content management and data conversion since it was founded in 2000. It is an honour for me to continue on this successful path.” He also emphasized the company’s focus on advancing its technical leadership and providing cutting-edge solutions for content producers globally.
