Kuveyt Turk and TUMOSAN Forge Partnership to Boost Agricultural Investment and Production
According to the statement from Kuveyt Turk, this partnership will offer a wide array of financial solutions to TUMOSAN dealers, including special financing for tractors and competitive rates for guarantee letters. This initiative is designed to ease the financial burden on farmers and dealers while stimulating economic growth in the agricultural sector, ultimately benefiting the Turkish economy.
The signing ceremony for this collaboration was held at TUMOSAN's headquarters, with the participation of Abdurrahman Delipoyraz, Deputy General Manager responsible for SME Banking at Kuveyt Turk, and Halim Tosun, General Manager of TUMOSAN. During the event, Delipoyraz emphasized the bank's commitment to providing effective financial solutions to meet farmers' needs and continuing to partner with leading institutions in the sector.
Under the terms of the agreement, Kuveyt Turk will offer TUMOSAN dealers interest-free tractor financing with the option to make annual payments. Additionally, dealers will benefit from special rates on guarantee letters and the Direct Debit System (DBS) Agreement. Farmers, on the other hand, will be able to defer payments for up to 12 months on service and spare parts purchases.
Moreover, through the Tohum Kart program, farmers will have the opportunity to finance essential agricultural expenses such as fuel, fertilizer, agricultural machinery, seeds, and feed, with the option to defer payments until the harvest season. This program is designed to provide flexible financial solutions tailored to the needs of the agricultural community.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Abdurrahman Delipoyraz highlighted the importance of supporting agricultural investment and production through strategic partnerships. He stated, "We are pleased to be the first participation finance institution to collaborate with TUMOSAN, one of the country's established diesel engine and tractor manufacturers. With this partnership, we are taking our support for farmers and the agricultural sector a step further. We will continue to provide effective financial solutions to meet the needs of our farmers and forge partnerships with leading institutions in the sector."
Halim Tosun, General Manager of TUMOSAN, expressed his belief that the partnership would bring significant benefits to farmers and all stakeholders involved. He noted that the financial solutions and advantages offered to dealers would further improve their business processes. Tosun emphasized their goal of addressing the needs of farmers for tractors and other agricultural equipment to help them achieve sustainable and efficient agricultural production.
