Kaleseramik General Manager Timur Karaoglu announced an exciting new investment agreement, stating, "After our new production line with an annual capacity of 1.5 million square meters, we are thrilled to embark on another investment in this field today."

Kaleseramik has signed an investment agreement worth €15 million with System Ceramics Spa. According to a company statement, Kaleseramik continues to invest in increasing the production power of Kalesinteflex, which was introduced to the market in 2005.

Last year, the company enhanced its production capacity for large-format porcelain slabs by commissioning a third production line at its factory in Canakkale. Now, they have taken their capabilities further with a new investment. The company has signed an agreement for a new production line with System Ceramics Spa, which develops systems and machinery for the ceramics industry. This investment collaboration was announced to the public through the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP).

The new investment, with its first phase set to be completed on May 1, 2025, and the second phase by the end of 2025, aims to increase the production capacity of 100x300 cm and 120x360 cm porcelain slabs by 50%.

Timur Karaoglu, Kaleseramik General Manager, noted in the statement that this new investment will further solidify their strong position in the global market and that they will continue to invest. He highlighted that they commissioned the third production line for Kalesinteflex in Turkey last year with an investment of €34 million, emphasizing, "Following our new production line, which produces with 42% less carbon emissions compared to standard production and has an annual production capacity of 1.5 million square meters, we are excited to announce another investment agreement in this field today."

Karaoglu shared that they plan to establish a new production line in two phases next year within the scope of the agreement, intending to fund this new investment of €15 million entirely from the public offering fund.

"We aim to increase our capacity to 5.6 million square meters."

Karaoglu mentioned that with this investment, their total investments in large-format porcelain slabs over the last two years will approach €50 million. He stated, "Kalesinterflex, which we export to many countries, including China, the cradle of ceramics, is receiving intense interest in the global market due to its superior features. To date, Kalesinterflex has been chosen for many significant international projects, including Barcelona Metro, Bratislava Airport, Baku Olympic Stadium, Leeds Stadium, Senegal United Nations Building, and Sochi Olympic Village."

Karaoglu emphasized that Kalesinterflex represents the latest advancement in ceramics with its environmentally friendly and sustainable production features, stating, "Despite their large size, Kalesinterflex's durable structure takes ceramic cladding products beyond conventional usage areas, opening new opportunities for us in the international market."

Highlighting their desire to make the most of the opportunities created by Kalesinterflex, Karaoglu continued, "With our new production line, which we will complete in 2025, we aim to increase our annual production capacity of large-format porcelain slabs from 1.6 million square meters to 2.4 million square meters, and our total porcelain slab capacity to 5.6 million square meters. We believe this new investment, which strengthens our production power, will also significantly contribute to our country's economy in terms of employment and exports."
