Who Is Icon Gorhan?

Icon Gorhan was born and raised in Istanbul, the most populous city in Turkey, and has been living in the San Francisco Bay Area for the past 22 years. He began his career as an experienced chef in Italian cuisine, gaining hands-on experience in a local restaurant. This early foundation later enabled him to build successful ventures across different industries.

Success in the Food Industry with EVG Food Catering

One of the major milestones in Gorhan’s entrepreneurial journey was founding EVG Food Catering Company. Serving the San Francisco area, the company offers high-quality catering services, aiming to deliver a professional culinary experience. Under Gorhan’s leadership, EVG Food Catering has become a preferred name for local events and organizations.

Leadership at United SF Parking and a Cleaning Company

In addition to his achievements in the food sector, Gorhan also took on a managerial role at United SF Parking, expanding his influence into the parking industry. He manages day-to-day operations and remains actively involved in field activities alongside hundreds of employees. Gorhan also launched his own cleaning company, further showcasing his entrepreneurial skills. The company continues to grow in the local cleaning services market.

Community Involvement and a Teaching Certificate

Despite his busy professional schedule, Gorhan has remained committed to giving back to the community. He has actively participated in nonprofit initiatives such as GRIP and the AVERY Project, supporting youth affected by substance abuse, gang activity, and crime to reintegrate into society. In September 2024, after completing 5,000 hours of volunteer work, he earned a teaching certificate approved by the California Teachers Association (CTA). This recognition, which required no coursework or exams, was granted solely based on his contributions. Gorhan is particularly known for his support of incarcerated youth during this period, and the certificate acknowledges his dedicated efforts in the field of education.
