FERASET secures $4.5M to scale its AI consumer apps globally
Istanbul-based AI startup FERASET has raised $4.5 million in Seed funding to grow its mobile app portfolio and expand its global reach.

FERASET, a technology company based in Istanbul, has raised $4.5 million in Seed funding from Play Ventures and e2vc. The startup develops AI-driven mobile applications focused on areas such as design, video, music, photography, and utilities. With this funding, the company aims to accelerate product development, grow its team in Turkey, and enhance its marketing efforts to boost downloads and reach more users around the world.
From gaming to AI-driven consumer tools
Co-founded by H. Burak Demir, FERASET leverages the team’s previous experience in the mobile gaming industry. Demir, who had a successful exit in that sector, now leads the company in creating AI-powered tools for a broad range of consumer needs. Applications such as Hexa, Livensa, Aura, and Music AI are already available on app stores, and the company has surpassed 2 million monthly downloads, with continued growth.
Demir shared that FERASET is working to become a leader in this space, saying, “We are witnessing a paradigm shift in AI-powered consumer applications, and FERASET is positioned to lead this movement. With the backing of Play Ventures and e2vc, we will continue to push the boundaries of AI innovation, scale our operations, and bring groundbreaking AI products to a global audience.”
Strategic investment in AI consumer tech
Play Ventures, one of the investors in this round, views the investment as a natural extension of its focus on gaming and consumer applications. Focused on international growth
The newly secured capital will primarily be used to strengthen the team in Turkey, improve existing apps, and accelerate the launch of new AI-powered products. A significant portion will also support marketing strategies aimed at growing the company's global user base.
