The Dubai Airports Corporation announced yesterday that the world's busiest airport in terms of international passengers is expecting to welcome more than 3.7 million travelers between June 12 and June 25. With an anticipated daily average of 264,000 passengers, the peak day is projected to be June 22, when passenger numbers could exceed 287,000.

To ensure a seamless and enjoyable travel experience, Dubai International Airport has implemented a series of measures. Emphasizing the importance of speeding up travel procedures, the airport aims to provide travelers with ample time to enjoy its diverse range of services. From world-class restaurants and shops to lounges and spa services, Dubai International Airport offers an exceptional and luxurious travel experience.

The Dubai Airports Corporation has issued a set of guidelines and recommendations for travelers to ensure a smooth and comfortable journey. For those flying with Emirates Airline, the company offers convenient check-in facilities, including early or home check-in and self-service check-in options. Travelers with Fly Dubai are advised to arrive at the airport at least four hours before their flight time, while passengers flying with other airlines should arrive three hours before departure. Online check-in is also recommended to save time and effort.

The Dubai Airports Corporation stressed the importance of being aware of the baggage weight limits and regulations of the respective airlines to avoid any last-minute delays. Travelers are encouraged to be prepared for security checkpoints by placing metal items such as watches, jewelry, mobile phones, coins, and belts in their hand luggage and adhering to the rules regarding the transport of liquids, aerosols, and gels.

Additionally, families traveling with children over 12 years old can use the smart gates to expedite passport control. Travelers are advised to check the latest travel regulations and requirements for their destination to ensure they have all necessary documents. It is also recommended to weigh luggage at home to avoid delays at the airport and to place extra batteries and portable chargers in hand luggage.

The Dubai Airports Corporation has also noted that only passengers are allowed into the departure lounges during peak times and recommended using the Dubai Metro for travel to and from the airport, as well as between Terminal 1 and Terminal 3, to avoid congestion.

With these preparations in place, Dubai International Airport aims to welcome millions of passengers smoothly and efficiently, ensuring that their summer and Eid al-Adha holiday travels are as pleasant as possible.
