Among these, the standout feature is ‘Race,’ a competitive game that marks Cowboy’s first venture into social gaming, allowing riders to engage in 500-meter sprints against others with similar profiles. This new addition aims to enhance the riding experience and foster a sense of community among Cowboy riders worldwide.
In safe cycling environments like parks, riders can choose from three games available within the app. These games are designed with safety in mind, featuring intuitive gameplay that minimizes distractions and automatically pauses when riders come to a stop.
Three New Games: ‘RACE,’ ‘BURN,’ and ‘PUSH’ Cowboy has introduced three new games: ‘RACE,’ which facilitates competitive 500-meter sprints; ‘BURN,’ designed for calorie-burning challenges; and ‘PUSH,’ which tests endurance by setting pedal power thresholds. These additions underscore Cowboy’s commitment to enriching the riding experience through software enhancements included in its Connect package.
Cowboy’s co-founder and CTO, Tanguy Goretti, stated, “We’ve always prided ourselves on having the ultimate connected e-bike, and our super-engaged community have collectively ridden 150 million kilometers.” He highlighted the significance of connectivity, explaining that it allows for shared intelligence, enabling industry-leading safety features like Traffic Alerts and Crash Detection. Goretti expressed excitement about this new phase, noting, “Today is another first: Connecting our riders through a fun and exciting interactive Race game. We’re incredibly excited about this first step into social gaming and the potential that it brings to Cowboy’s riders.”
Theft Alerts and New Dashboard Features Cowboy’s proprietary software, Connect, already includes features such as Share My Ride and integration with Apple Health and Strava. With the latest update, the riding experience is further enhanced by the introduction of Theft Alerts for all subscribed riders. This new feature aims to provide an additional layer of security and peace of mind for Cowboy users.
The update also brings improvements to the Ride Dashboard, which now displays dynamic In-Ride Milestones, offering contextual notifications rather than static data. This upgrade ensures that all Connect subscribers receive the new software through over-the-air updates, enhancing their overall experience.
