Bria, a company developing a visual generative AI platform for enterprises, has secured $40 million in a Series B funding round. The investment brings the company’s total capital raised to $65 million, with the latest round led by Red Dot Capital, alongside participation from Maor Investment, Entree Capital, GFT Ventures, Intel Capital, and In-Venture. This funding round reflects the growing interest in AI technologies that prioritize intellectual property (IP) rights, a subject that continues to raise concern among businesses and regulators.

IP transparency at the core of Bria’s platform

Founded to address the increasing demand for transparency in AI-generated content, Bria provides companies with the tools to generate visual materials that align with brand identity while maintaining full compliance with licensing standards. As AI systems are often scrutinized for the use of unlicensed data, Bria’s approach—based on a fully licensed data training model—offers an alternative that minimizes legal risks. Its solution is built around a patented attribution engine that links generative output back to the source datasets, ensuring that content providers receive compensation.

The platform operates with an infrastructure similar to revenue-sharing systems used in music streaming. It currently relies on contributions from over 30 data providers, including Getty Images, Envato, Alamy, Freepik, and Depositphotos. This system allows for a clear and fair path to monetize content used in AI models, while also protecting the rights of original data owners.

Strategic partnerships with major tech players

Since completing its Series A round in March 2024, Bria has focused on integrating its technology into enterprise systems, working closely with large-scale tech partners such as Nvidia, Microsoft, and AWS. The company was also recognized as AWS Design Partner of the Year, underlining its role in developing responsible AI applications in the visual content space.

In a statement, Dr. Yair Adato, founder and CEO of Bria, highlighted how businesses can integrate the company’s tools directly into their products to access high-quality branded content. He added that by “expanding our attribution model to encompass all types of content, we are helping to create a sustainable creative economy.” This indicates that Bria’s vision extends beyond images, aiming to offer scalable and legally sound content creation across various media categories.
