Allvue Systems rolls out its AI-ready Nexius platform, aiming to unify and automate data management across private capital firms globally.
Allvue Systems, LLC, a technology provider focused on the needs of investment managers, has announced the launch of Nexius, its new intelligent data platform. The company positions Nexius as an AI-ready, cloud-native system designed to solve one of the private capital market's major challenges: fragmented data infrastructure. Based on insights from Allvue's 2025 GP Outlook, only 6% of firms report being “very satisfied” with their current platforms, while 88% place high importance on data and reporting capabilities.
Consolidation challenges push firms toward new data solutions
As data demands continue to increase, many firms struggle to keep up. Reports from S&P Global Market Intelligence show that investment firms now use 50% more data sources than they did five years ago, making it harder to consolidate and analyze information efficiently. In addition, a recent survey by CSC Global (Intertrust Group) found that 65% of fund managers find data consolidation difficult, while 53% of leading private capital firms identify data management as one of their top three tech challenges. Nexius aims to address these issues with a centralized data warehouse, built-in API integrations, and compatibility with Snowflake Share for secure and streamlined data exchange.
According to Allvue, the Nexius launch already includes adoption by seven fund administrators and 30 individual General Partners (GPs), representing a network of 250 GPs in total. Nexius supports a wide array of use cases, including capital call booking, investor onboarding workflows, shadow accounting, and enterprise-level analytics. The platform offers a single environment to reduce redundancies, automate manual tasks, and provide firms with up-to-date reporting capabilities.
A unified solution to overcome fragmented workflows
Commenting on the complexity of current data processes, Ivan Latanision, Chief Product Officer at Allvue, stated: "Private capital markets run on data, but managing it shouldn't be this hard." The new platform intends to help firms replace outdated systems with one that automates processes, ensures accuracy, and enables scale.
Davit Harutyunyan, Head of Product, Data at Allvue, emphasized the impact of data unification on decision-making. "Nexius has the power to transform how funds manage data... The platform has the potential to save firms hours of manual work, and ensure data is accurate," he said. Nexius is designed to act as a “golden source of truth”, reducing errors by integrating disparate data streams into a single structure.
