At the Adobe Summit, Adobe (Nasdaq: ADBE) introduced the private preview of Adobe Marketing Agent, while also revealing continued development of Adobe Express Agent within Microsoft 365 Copilot. These additions mark a further step in the ongoing partnership between Adobe and Microsoft, aiming to incorporate generative AI into day-to-day business tools. The integration brings intelligent automation into apps like Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Teams, supporting marketing professionals in managing campaigns and content without switching platforms.

Adobe Express Agent simplifies content creation

With Adobe Express Agent, users will be able to create visual content inside Microsoft Word and PowerPoint through a conversational interface. This tool enables teams to generate images for presentations, documents, whitepapers, or social media posts without leaving the apps they already use. The agent is designed to help various departments—not just marketing—streamline the development of visual materials with minimal disruption to their workflow.

Audience analysis and insights made more accessible

The private preview of Adobe Marketing Agent brings audience refinement and data analysis directly into Microsoft 365 applications. Marketing teams can access insights from the Adobe Experience Platform using natural language prompts, helping them identify key segments and drive personalization efforts more efficiently. According to Adobe’s Senior Vice President of Digital Experience Business, Amit Ahuja, the agent allows marketers to operate within the natural flow of their work, creating impactful content and supporting personalization.

By integrating with Adobe Customer Journey Analytics, the agent enables users to extract campaign insights and performance metrics quickly. These can then be used to generate reports within Word or PowerPoint, making it easier to evaluate and adjust strategies.

Boosting collaboration and workflow management

The new AI agents are also expected to enhance cross-team collaboration. Integration with Adobe Workfront will support project tracking and management, allowing users to summarize project statuses, locate details, and monitor progress within Microsoft Teams and other 365 apps. Charles Lamanna, Corporate Vice President, Business and Industry Copilot at Microsoft, noted that the collaboration highlights how AI agents tailored to specific roles can enhance human productivity across organizations.

Supporting the content supply chain

These updates are also positioned to help companies manage the entire content supply chain—from planning and creation to activation and measurement. With connected tools from Adobe and Microsoft, teams can move more fluidly through the content lifecycle.

Additionally, Adobe announced a broader integration with LinkedIn Ads within GenStudio for Performance Marketing, allowing for quick development of B2B ad assets. The service now also supports asset creation for display ads served through Microsoft Advertising.

Through Adobe Experience Platform Agent Orchestrator, businesses can coordinate AI agents from Adobe and third-party partners, reinforcing their ability to manage customer experiences efficiently within a unified environment.
