This strategic move is set to bolster Accenture Song's market position as the world's largest tech-powered creative group.

Announced initially on May 2, 2024, the acquisition integrates approximately 300 employees into Droga5 São Paulo, enhancing the agency's influence and relevance across Brazil and Latin America. With this integration, SOKO's co-CEOs, Felipe Simi and Brisa Vicente, will assume pivotal roles as CEO and creative chairperson, and co-CEO respectively. Additionally, former associated partner Felipe Belinky will take on the role of Chief Operating Officer at Droga5 São Paulo.

Based in São Paulo, Brazil's largest city, SOKO is known for its expertise in brand storytelling that resonates organically with audiences. Utilizing proprietary methodologies and metrics, the agency has been successful in transforming powerful ideas into significant brand engagement and impressions for its clients. Recognized as one of the top three advertising agencies in Brazil by SCOPEN for its innovation and creativity, SOKO's work has received accolades from international award shows including The One Show, Clio Awards, The Effies, Fast Company, and Cannes Lions. This year, SOKO and its projects have been shortlisted in the prestigious Titanium and Glass categories at the Cannes Lions festival.

Simi's creative influence and activism have earned him numerous accolades, including being named the "#1 most admired advertising executive in Brazil" according to 2023 Agency Scope research, recognized as an "Advertising Game Changer" by Meio e Mensagem, and nominated for "Industry Leader" at the Prêmio Caboré in 2022. In 2020, Wired Magazine listed him as one of the 50 most creative people in Brazil.

Droga5, established in 2006 by David Droga, is headquartered in New York with offices in London, Dublin, Tokyo, and São Paulo. The acquisition of SOKO aims to accelerate Droga5's global mission to deliver creativity that is deeply rooted in strategy and purpose, focusing on human connections and adding value to people's lives.
